Most Amsterdam kitchens run lunch from 12:00 to about 15:00 and then close until dinner, so the window is short and the good rooms fill from 12:30. Walk-ins work on weekdays almost everywhere on this page; book for Friday and for anything on the business shortlist. Sunday lunch is a smaller list, and the brasseries and grand cafes carry it. Every entry below links to its full review, with what to order and the price you will actually pay.
