Williams Farmhouse
The Café Garçon team's British restaurant on Beethovenstraat, for Beef Wellington on Wednesdays and a roast with Yorkshire pudding at Sunday lunch.
Dylan Sturm and Thom Lammerts, the pair behind Café Garçon and Brasserie Margaux, opened Williams Farmhouse on Beethovenstraat on 13 December 2024. From May to September it trades as Williams Botanical Garden; on 1 October it returns as Williams Farmhouse. The head chef is Hans Geertsema. Lunch runs until 16:00, with dinner after that: a Scotch egg at €23, a sharing chicken pie at €26 a head and rib-eye for two at €49 a head. Wednesday is Beef Wellington day, in limited numbers, and Sunday lunch is a roast with Yorkshire pudding. Mara Grimm gave Williams Farmhouse a 7+ in Het Parool in July 2025: she praised the interior and the terrace, liked the Scotch egg and the fish and chips, and found the steak tough and the halibut overcooked. Gault&Millau made it a 2026 newcomer with 13.5 points and notes the visible precision of the cooking.
Closed on Mondays. Book online, and reserve ahead for the Wednesday Wellington, which comes in limited numbers; groups from eight get set menus from €70 a head, with a private dining area for up to ten or tables across the restaurant for larger parties.
