The all Antico Vinaio phenomenon, Florentine schiacciata stacked to structural limits, reached Amsterdam via Zero Zero, and the Spiegelstraat shop earns its lunch line. The bread is the point: crisp, salted, olive-oiled schiacciata cut fresh, with the mortadella-stracciatella-pistachio combination doing exactly what half a million videos promised. The queue looks committed at one o clock but it is a takeaway line and it moves. There is a second branch in De Pijp when the centre one snakes. As viral lunches go this is the honest end of the spectrum: real product, fair price, fast line.
